Emergencies & After-hours Care
Students can take their UT student ID and health insurance card/information to the University of Tennessee Medical Center Emergency Room at 1924 Alcoa Highway. A special pricing agreement is available to UT students at this hospital ER only.
Other ERs Close to Campus
Other ER’s close to campus, where special pricing agreements do not exist, include Fort Sander’s Regional Medical Center ER and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital ER (must be </=21 years of age).
Transportation
If you require transportation to the hospital, in accordance with your needs, you may call a local taxi or transport service, have a friend transport you, or call 911 for emergency transport.
