University of Tennessee, Knoxville, students who are enrolled in on campus classes and have paid any portion of the Student Programs and Services Fee (SPSF) for a given semester are eligible for services at the Student Health Center.
Student Health Center salaries and operating costs are funded primarily through the SPSF. Because of this funding, we are able to provide many services to our students at no charge. This also means that students who do not pay the SPSF for any given semester are not eligible to be seen that semester.
All community members are eligible to take advantage of the Student Health Center Pharmacy.
For summer 2023, a $125 SPSF will be assessed for all students utilizing Student Health Center services.

Medical and Physician Assistant students on rotation in Knoxville who have paid the SPSF are only eligible during the dates of their rotation.
New, incoming freshman or transfer students who provide proof of enrollment to the university for the upcoming fall semester may receive immunizations and/or testing required for university attendance and will not be required to pay the SPSF.
