Maggie Farley is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Loyola University in her hometown of New Orleans. She worked in the mental health field in New York City for several years before entering nursing. She earned Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Columbia University in New York. She has dual licensure from the State of Tennessee as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse. She maintains national certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Maggie joined the Student Health Center staff in June of 2020. Her prior experience includes Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Women’s Health, and LGBTQ-inclusive healthcare.
Students are seen in the Women’s Health Clinic by appointment. Services available include Preventive Health Examinations, Cervical Cancer Screenings, Birth Control, Infection Screening and Treatment, and Health Counseling. Lab test results are generally conveyed through a secure portal link sent via a student’s VolMail account. Be sure to check your VolMail for these notifications.
