COVID-19 Test Clinic

***Notices for Those Fully Vaccinated ***

Because the CDC advises those fully vaccinated for COVID-19 should not be tested unless they have developed symptoms of COVID-19, have had close contact with someone infected with COVID-19, or have experienced certain travel-related potential COVID-19 exposures, your health insurance could decline to pay for your test if you do not meet one of these criteria. See Charges below for more information.

If you are fully vaccinated and asymptomatic but have had close contact with a known COVID-19 infected individual, you should wear a mask when around others and be tested for COVID-19 3 to 5 days from the day you were first exposed.

COVID-19 Test Clinic Appointments

Because you will not be evaluated by a healthcare provider in the COVID-19 Test Clinic, you should only schedule an appointment here if you are asymptomatic or experiencing only mild symptoms of COVID-19

Important Information before you schedule:

  1. Those with mild to moderate symptoms who also have risk factors for developing severe disease and hospitalization may be candidates for monoclonal antibody therapy. Contact your healthcare provider before scheduling in the COVID-19 test Clinic.
  2. Those experiencing moderate to severe symptoms should not schedule an appointment in the COVID-19 Test Clinic. Rather, they should contact their healthcare provider for additional guidance regarding pre-test evaluation.
  3. All students tested through the COVID-19 Test Clinic will be required to complete the online COVID Support Form and, dependent on their vaccination status, quarantine away from others until their test results are back.
  4. Students residing in on-campus housing, dependent on their vaccination status, may be required to initiate their Isolation or Quarantine Plan while awaiting their results.
  5. Any student tested for COVID-19 should follow the guidance provided by the COVID Support Team until their test results are back. Test results are typically available within 24 to 48 hours.
  6. If you have health insurance, you must bring that information (card) with you to your appointment.
